Water and hydro energy
Micro hydro from 5 kW to 100 kW, plus solar water pumping for farms. The oldest renewable source there is, and still the most dependable where the flow exists.
Flowing water, working continuously
Hydro power uses the movement of water — a river, a stream, a canal or an engineered channel — to spin a turbine. Unlike sun and wind, a reliable flow produces around the clock, which makes hydro the steadiest source in the mix.
For most of our customers this shows up in two forms: a micro hydro set on a stream serving a village or a small industry, and solar-driven pumping that moves water for irrigation without a diesel bill.

How it works
Water flow turns the turbine
Head and flow rate together decide how much power is available.
The turbine drives a generator
Coupled directly or through a gearbox depending on the design.
The generator produces AC
Regulated for stable voltage and frequency.
A transformer steps it up
So the power can travel to where it is needed without loss.
Power reaches the grid or building
Feeding a village supply, a workshop or a farm.
Water does not stop at sunset. Where there is flow, there is power around the clock.

Where it earns its place

Hydro needs an actual flow and an actual drop. Where that is not available, solar pumping usually delivers the same practical benefit for a farm at a much lower cost.
